An interesting mid twentieth-century Zulu walking stick with a most elegant candy-stick twist in the upper half, the head covered with plasticated s-called ‘telephone wire’ (a style popular from the middle 1900s). The stick has a subtle honey-coloured patina, and may predate the wire addition. Overall length 35 ins, diameter of the head 2 ins.
