Beautiful hand-coloured print from The Graphic featuring the ‘Destruction of Dabulamanzi’s Kraal, April 4’. Prince Dabulamanzi kaMpande was a younger brother of King Cetshwayo, and had previously led the Zulu attack on Rorke’s Drift. His personal homestead, eZuluwini, was destroyed by the British in April 1879 in the last act of the Eshowe campaign. Illustration 20 x 12 ins in a card mount 27 x 20 ins.
