19th CENTURY ZULU WAR SHIELD IHAWU: 31 x 17-inches

Nice, old characterful Zulu war-shield of the ihawu type, carried for personal protection. Some hair loss on one side, was originally brown and white – overall good condition but some pin-holes from of previous mounting, and the (original) stick is pinned in place, with some damage from the pin.
