An attractive and evocative Zulu knobkerry/fighting stick, probably dating to the end of the 20th Century. The entire head is neatly covered in 'telephone wire' decoration, and there are several similar bands along the handle, interspersed with lengths of coloured plastic tape. There is considerable wear to the tape and wire at the grip, suggesting long use! A nice piece! Overall length 32 ins.
