A Zulu stabbing spear, iklwa, with characteristic long blade and short haft. The blade (13.5 x 1.5 ins) is pitted with age and the edge slightly indented from repeated sharpening; the haft may have been replaced at some point. Typical cow-tail binding, overall length 33 ins, very good condition.
