A typical and very fine 19th Century Zulu stabbing spear, iklwa, with characteristic long blade a short fighting haft. Overall length 48 ins, blade 16 ins, cowhide binding. Very good condition, no obvious damage apart from an old chip to the butt of the handle. A superb example of this iconic Zulu fighting weapon.
