An excellent old Zulu stabbing spear, iklwa, with a slim, elegant blade and a nice dark age patina, some age pitting to blade and handle. Overall length 43 inches, blade 15 ins. long and 1.5 ins wide. A very nice example of the classic iklwa which is so associated with the old Zulu kingdom and with the war of 1879.
