Based on the account by Walter Dunne - who fought at Rorke's Drift, and later during the 1881 Transvaal Rebellion - this book highlights the important role of the commissariat and transport department in the Anglo-Zulu War. It not only includes Dunne's account of Rorke's Drift but analyses the transport logistics throughout the war, and includes some interesting plans and diagrams of transport wagons. A scarce book these days. Hardback, illustrated, very good condition.
