The type of rifle used by British infantry during the Anglo-Zulu War; an original Martini-Henry Mark II rifle with British markings (Enfield 1878), together with the Other Ranks' socket bayonet ('the lunger'). Not deactivated, in good condition with some wear appropriate to service and age (old dents in the woodwork etc), bayonet has had a 'ding' mid-way down the blade, leather sling appears to be modern. Would make an excellent display piece with any Anglo-Zulu War collection.
PLEASE NOTE; The Martini-Henry is classed as an antique (obsolete) weapon and no firearms license is required to own one. However, will overseas customers please inquire first as special arrangements may be needed to ship to your country.
