A nicely mounted and framed display set of 24 original cigarette cards issued by John Player and sons depicting Victoria Cross recipients. The cards have been framed so as to be visible both front and back; the subjects cover a number of Victorian Wars and include Redvers Buller, Pte. Hook and Lt. Melvill from the Anglo-Zulu War. 18 x 12 ins.
NB. Whilst every care will be taken in packaging, safe delivery cannot be entirely guaranteed due to the extensive amount of glass in the frame.
