A study of the campaigns of the influential group of officers whom Sir Garnet Wolseley first gathered around himself in the Asante campaign of 1873/74, and which included Evelyn Wood, Redvers Buller and Sir George Colley. The text is mainly concerned with their campaigns 1873-1881, and includes several chapters on the Anglo-Zulu War. Dust wrapper has one or two knocks, the edges of the pages are a little marked, but otherwise very good condition.
