Large format thick hardback book listing the official historic monuments of South Africa at the time of publication (1972). These include many in the Cape or connected with the Cape Frontier Wars and the Great Trek as well as KwaZulu Natal sites connected with the early Zulu kings and the Anglo-Zulu War. Each entry includes as description and most are illustrated. Dust Wrapper has one tear on the reverse, otherwise book is in good condition. The postage reflects the weight!
