A companion booklet to a special exhibition presented by the Royal Engineers in 1996. The booklet includes a resume of the Corps' participation in the war, including of course iSandlwana and Rorke's Drift, the siege of Eshowe and so forth. Some of the personalities are also considered, and there are some rare illustrations, including an unusual one of Durnford, and of the surviving remnants of Lord Chelmsford's orders to Durnford to move forward to iSandlwana (which are held by the Museum). Pocket size, paperback, 60 pages, slight creasing to covers otherwise good condition, rare now.
