Entertaining journalistic account of the way in which the first British adventures at King Shaka's court in the 1820s conspired to blacken Shaka's name to posterity and erase from the historical records their own dubious adventures - published in 1987 it was something of an answer to the more positive impression of the same events given in the TV drama 'Shaka Zulu'. Hardback, illus, pages edges a little marked but otherwise very good condition.
